OCULUS

OCULUS is my concept for an optical store that features smart technology.

Given this project in Spring 2019 for my Studio 4 class, our professor provided us with an optical store floor plan from the Garden State Plaza shopping center in Paramus, NJ. 

With the upcoming of the New Age and technology becoming more advanced and appearing more everywhere, OCULUS optical store features the use of smart technology. The minimal and modern aesthetics fall in with the computerization of the store.

The interactive smart screens allows guests a more convenient and fun experience. With the two screens at the front of the store, visitors are able to check in or make an appointment, then walk around the mall during your wait time since you'll receive a text message that your appointment is starting soon. And with the smart screens on the walls next to the glasses displays, visitors can take a quiz or have their face scanned to determine which styles of glasses fit best.
